After traveling to San Francisco as a team a couple of weeks ago to meet up with Evernote, we were eager to spend some time coding up a storm.

Our whole team tackled different projects last week, and we rolled out some really cool features.
  • Twitter posting
  • Tumblr importing
  • UI updates for mobile and web
  • Speed increases via worker jobs
To enable any of these updates, just log into your Postach.io account and click "Edit" next to the site you'd like to edit:

Twitter Posting

Auto-tweeting your new content was one of our top feature requests. Now you can simply tag a note as "tweet" and it will post to your Twitter. You can enable it in the "Edit" section of your site.

Once in "Edit" choose Imports & Sharing from the left menu.

Then simply click the "Connect Twitter" button to hook up your Twitter account. You can connect one Twitter account per site you run on Postach.io.

Tumblr Importing

You asked for it, and we delivered it! Now you can import from Tumblr! Any text, image, etc. that was previously "published" on Tumblr will come over to Evernote as "published" and your drafts will stay drafts. Simply click "Edit", then go to "Import & Sharing" and choose the "Connect Tumblr" button.

UI Updates

You'll notice when you sign into Postach.io we've given the site a subtle facelift - it's more apparent after you log in.

Also, if you haven't checked Postach.io out on your mobile phone, try it! You can manage your site settings on the road, on the train, and even in your car (hopefully not while driving). Responsive web design is one thing you can always expect from us!

Additionally, we've moved a bunch of processing tasks to worker jobs that run in the background - this gives the site snappier performance. For example, we've improved "Manual Sync" so now it runs in the background now and you don't have to wait for the spinning ball. Just click "Manual Sync" and get on with your day!

You should now be enjoying a faster, more responsive, better integrated Postach.io!

Upcoming

We're currently working on the following improvements which you can expect very soon:
  • Food blogging themes
  • Photo blogging themes
  • Wordpress import
  • Blogger import
  • Social feed (super fun secret feature)
